AutoCAD 3D Structural Steel (AISC Standard)

Create quick and professional 3D Structural Steel drawings in AutoCAD using this simple program which is based on the US AISC Manual of Steel Construction LRFD, 3rd Edition.

Instructions on how to insert a Structural Steel Beam:

1)   Select required fitting by click one of the tabs

2)   Choose the size to be drawn (Group>Category>Size)

3)   Choose your units / layer to be used (optional)

4)   Type required length of beam

5)   Click on the DRAW button and select your insert position

Done! Fittings are standard AutoCAD solids.  You can either integrate them into your own library or use the BOM facility provided with this program.

 		 

How to identify a Structural Steel Member once it is in your drawing:

Simply hover your cursor over the structural steel member and a "tooltip" will appear showing the part's description:

 

 

 

Instructions on how to insert a BOM:

1)  Select a height for your rows

2)  Click "Draw Table" button & select position for table to be inserted

Done! The table is a standard AutoCAD table which can be edited at your whim.
